Introducing Toydrobe

Toydrobe is the world's first wardrobe-style toy management app, designed to help families see and use what they have, manage clutter and develop a more sustainable mindset around children's toys.

Overconsumption is drowning our homes in a vast quantity of toys, games, crafts and activities, and the sad fact is that many of these will receive little to no play before they are rehomed or thrown away, wasting both money and our planet's resources. Parents feel overwhelmed by clutter and are constantly tidying, while children are spoilt for choice, can't see what they have and can't decide what to play with.

We want to change that - so we built Toydrobe, the revolutionary new app to manage your family's toys.

Use the app to catalogue and digitise your toy collection, then browse and easily see what you own so forgotten toys receive the attention they deserve. Use Toydrobe's token system and visual tidy-up timer to encourage children to pack away first before trading their tokens in for new toys. Track your play stats and unlock the full power of Toydrobe with Declutter Mode, with smart suggestions on what to rotate, store away or re-home for a calmer home and deeper play.

Our mission is simple: we want to inspire families to develop a more conscious, mindful approach to children's toys. Our aim is to reduce both clutter and overconsumption by inspiring you to play more with what you already own.

Our story

Our story

Built for overwhelmed parents by an overwhelmed parent

Toydrobe was founded by a mum who was sick of constantly battling endless toys. Her three children didn't play with half of what they owned because everything was buried in cupboards in an attempt to keep their small house tidy. Owning such a large quantity of toys that were never played with felt pointless and wasteful.

She decided something needed to change: either her family needed to play more with what they already had, or they needed to own less - or both.

She searched the app store eager to download a toy rotation or inventory app to help her family get on top of their toys. Only to find... it didn't exist.

The solution: the world's first wardrobe-style app for toys. She created Toydrobe to help other families who were facing the same problem, to inspire better play, manage fewer toys and to allow families to declutter with confidence.
