How Toydrobe works
Toydrobe is your family's digital toy shelf, allowing you to catalogue, browse and manage your toys to maximise play, minimise clutter and prevent overconsumption.
Step 1
Build your Toy Library
Build your Toy Library
Digitise your toy collection in Parent Mode by snapping a photo or upload a product image of each toy, game or activity.
Add the toy's name, category, token value and whether the toy's in rotation or in storage - the whole process takes seconds.
Step 2
Assign tokens
Add each child and allocate them each a number of tokens. The more tokens they have, the more they can "spend" on getting out toys to play with.
If a toy or game is small or straightforward forward to pack away, it costs fewer tokens to check out. If it takes up a lot of space, is very messy or takes ages to pack away, it costs more.
Step 3
Use Play Mode as a family
Switch to Play Mode to filter and browse your toy library and help your child decide what to get out.
Your child sees only what’s in rotation and uses tokens to check out the toys they want to play with, reminding them of forgotten toys without pulling everything out of storage.
Step 4
Beat the clock to tidy up
Use Toydrobe's rainbow tidy-up timer as a visual aid to help children pack their toys away before they can use their tokens to check new toys out.
Step 4
Declutter with confidence
Toydrobe tracks what gets played with so you can see what percentage of your toys are actually being played with.
Rehome toys based on real play data, rather than guessing when something was last used.
